Job summary

Innodata Inc. is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy production-ready Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions. You will build end-to-end AI workflows, APIs, and scalable services using Python and cloud platforms.

You will work with state-of-the-art models (GPT, Claude, Gemini) and integrate AI into enterprise systems, ensuring performance, accuracy, and governance through evaluations and guardrails.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML or software engineering with production AI experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering Generative AI, LLM, or Agentic AI solutions.
• Strong Python programming and API development skills.
• Practical knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI and agent-based workflows using LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, and orchestration.
• Build scalable AI services and APIs using Python, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Work with models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or equivalent foundation models.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and MCP based services.
• Implement model evaluation, response quality checks, confidence scoring, guardrails, and human review processes.
• Optimize AI solutions for accuracy, performance, scalability, latency, and cost.
• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve AI solutions in production.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineers, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, testing, and engineering best practices.
