Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Generative AI and Data Science professional to lead the design and delivery of AI-driven solutions. You will guide architecture, stakeholder communication, and hands-on development using Python, FastAPI, and GCP technologies.

The role demands expertise in GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and vector databases, with a focus on scalable production deployments and mentoring teams across Noida, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, and Mumbai.

Qualifications

• Generative AI, ML and data science expertise required.
• Hands-on with LLMs, RAG and vector databases.
• GCP/Vertex AI experience preferred.
• Strong Python, API, and microservices knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Generative AI solutions using LLMs, NLP, RAG, vector DBs.
• Provide architecture guidance and mentor teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and propose solutions.
• Develop POCs and support proposal activities.
• Deploy AI models in production with scalable infrastructure.
• Ensure performance, reliability and governance of AI initiatives.
• Lead in Python, FastAPI/Flask, SQL and JavaScript implementations.
• Stay updated with GenAI advances and advocate best practices.
• Mentor team members and drive delivery from design to deployment.
