Job summary

ICW is seeking a senior AI Engineer for a fully remote freelance engagement. You will design and implement Generative AI solutions, AI Agent workflows, and API integrations using Python and AWS services.

Work with a U.S.-based insurance client on cloud-native AI infrastructure, with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in software and ML engineering, hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, and modern toolchains (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).

Qualifications

• We are seeking a senior AI Engineer with hands-on Generative AI and AI Agent experience.
• Strong Python development skills and API integration experience.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and containerized deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement Generative AI solutions using LLMs and modern AI tools.
• Develop AI Agent workflows and integrations for business use cases.
• Build and integrate APIs using Python.
• Work with cloud-based infrastructure and AI services on AWS.
• Support scalable, reliable, and secure AI applications.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Participate in client-facing conversations when needed.
• Contribute to CI/CD and engineering best practices.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and AWS services.
• Troubleshoot and optimize AI-based solutions as they evolve.
