Job summary

Factored, founded to empower LATAM talent, seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for fully remote work. You will design and deploy state-of-the-art recommender systems and leverage Generative AI to enhance personalized experiences.

You’ll work with large-scale data using Databricks and Spark, collaborating across engineering, data science, and business teams while enjoying a flexible, values-driven culture and remote working from anywhere.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying recommender systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Extensive experience with Spark/PySpark in Databricks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement recommender systems to improve product discovery and customer engagement.
• Build and manage scalable ML pipelines for data processing, feature engineering, model training, and deployment.
• Apply and optimize models including Wide & Deep, Two-Tower, Transformers, embeddings, AutoRec, and GRU4Rec.
• Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to productionize models.
• Monitor and improve deployed models to align with evolving needs and run experiments.
