Job summary

Genesys is seeking a General Accounting Manager to lead the General Accounting function within Finance Shared Services, overseeing close processes and key accounting towers in Manila, Philippines. The role focuses on technical accounting, leadership, and transformation through AI and automation.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and 8–10+ years in multinational or SSC environments, driving changes across processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
• 8–10+ years in progressive accounting roles, with SSC/GBS/BPO experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead General Accounting towers and ensure timely, accurate close.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Drive process standardization, AI adoption, and automation initiatives.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to leaders and teams.
• Partner with RTI Towers, FSSC, Controllership, and other stakeholders.
