Job summary

Genesys is seeking a General Accounting Manager to lead the General Accounting function within Finance Shared Services in Manila. The role oversees close processes, journal entries, intercompany, fixed assets and prepayments, while driving controls, standardization, and continuous improvement using AI, automation and analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
CPA certification is required or preferred.
8–10+ years in progressive accounting roles, with SSC/GBS exposure.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX; internal controls.

Responsibilities

Lead General Accounting and close processes (month/quarter/year-end).
Provide technical accounting guidance to managers and teams.
Oversee journal entries, intercompany, fixed assets, and prepayments.
Develop and monitor KPIs, service levels, and performance metrics for accounting functions.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align priorities and drive transformation including AI and automation initiatives.
