Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Garment Production Technician / Sewing Technical Specialist. You will lead sewing operations, guide production teams, and ensure quality during mass production.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in apparel production management or sewing technology, hands-on sewing expertise, and a proven ability to drive process improvements and resolve defects.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in apparel production management, quality control, or sewing technology.
• Sewing technical guidance and production line management experience.
• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and sewing specifications.
• Hands-on sewing technology experience — HIGH PRIORITY.
• Experience in quality control and product inspection.
• Experience in production process and efficiency improvement.
• Ability to analyze sewing/production defects and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Review garment specifications and provide technical support for production.
• Provide sewing technical guidance and line management during production.
• Monitor sewing and processing operations to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections during mass production.
• Analyze defects, identify root causes, and provide corrective instructions.
• Manage production processes during mass production launches.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to sewing, patterns, materials, and garment processing.
• Recommend improvements to production processes, efficiency, and product quality.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Support OEM/ODM production requirements and ensure products meet client specifications.
