Job summary

Citco Group Limited in Manila is seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join our Fund Administration team. You will provide technical accounting knowledge to clients and colleagues, oversee complex Real assets fund structures, and ensure accurate financial reporting end-to-end.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting in real estate/private equity, strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, and experience with Yardi/MRI/Investran.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• 5+ years in public or private accounting.
• 5+ years in real estate and/or private equity accounting.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with real estate fund accounting and private equity.
• Experience reviewing real estate operations and preparing full financial statements.
• Familiarity with real estate accounting for multi-family and commercial properties.
• Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with keen attention to detail.
• Proven project management skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting knowledge to clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate with Operations, Financial Statement, Tax, and Investor Relations groups.
• Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit processes.
• Review fund partnership agreements, PPMs and related materials.
• Lead the implementation of fund structures on accounting systems.
• Coach, develop and train staff.
• Complete ad hoc reports as needed.
• Review trading and operations processes for the real assets division.
• Complete any other functions as part of the business.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• You will be providing technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients and internally
• Coordinate with Operations group, Financial Statement group, Tax group, and Investor Relations group
• Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit process

Qualifications

About You:

• You have a Bachelor or Master level degree (in accounting, finance, economics).
• 5+ years public/private accounting experience
• 5+ years real estate and/or private equity experience
• Knowledge and experience in GAAP and IFRS
• Experience with fair value reporting for real estate investments and debt obligations
• Knowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate Funds
• Experience in reviewing real estate operations and preparation of full sets of financial statements, including notes
• Knowledge of multi-family and commercial real estate accounting
• Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
• Knowledge and experience in real estate/private equity accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, Investran, etc.)
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel)
