Job summary

The Citco Group Limited in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced fund accounting professional to provide technical accounting guidance, coordinate cross-functional teams, and lead audits for real estate and private equity structures.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in accounting within real estate/PE, strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and leadership capabilities to coach staff and deliver accurate financial statements and notes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in accounting/finance/economics.
• 5+ years public/private accounting experience.
• 5+ years real estate and/or private equity experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with fair value reporting for real estate investments.
• Familiarity with real estate/private equity funds.
• Experience reviewing real estate operations and preparing full financial statements.
• Strong leadership, communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Proficiency with real estate accounting systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting knowledge to clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate with Operations, Financial Statement, Tax and Investor Relations groups.
• Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit processes.
• Review fund partnership agreements, PPMs and related materials.
• Lead the implementation of fund structures on the accounting system.
• Coach, develop and train staff.
• Complete ad hoc reports as needed.
• Review trading and operations processes for the real assets division.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• You will be providing technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients and internally
• Coordinate with Operations group, Financial Statement group, Tax group, and Investor Relations group
• Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit process
• Review fund partnership agreements, PPM’s and other materials
• Lead the Implementation of fund structures on accounting system
• Coach, develop and train staff
• Complete ad hoc reports as needed
• Review trading and operations processes for the Company’s real assets division

Complete any other functions required as part of the business of the Company

Qualifications

About You:

• You have a Bachelor or Master level degree (in accounting, finance, economics).
• 5+ years public/private accounting experience
• 5+ years real estate and/or private equity experience
• Knowledge and experience in GAAP and IFRS
• Experience with fair value reporting for real estate investments and debt obligations
• Knowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate Funds
• Experience in reviewing real estate operations and preparation of full sets of financial statements, including notes
• Knowledge of multi-family and commercial real estate accounting
• Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
• Knowledge and experience in real estate/private equity accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, Investran, etc.)
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel)
