Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking an Assistant Manager in Asset Owner Solutions. You will act as the team’s technical expert, review complex fund accounting outputs, and ensure accuracy and compliance. You will mentor staff, manage work rhythms, and ensure client SLAs are met.

The role emphasizes technical accounting leadership, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to regulatory standards within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, incl. 4 years in fund accounting, performance and analytics, financial reporting, or audit.
• Strong expertise in technical accounting with a proven SME track record driving improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory frameworks and their application.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, able to work under pressure and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Perform final reviews and sign-off on fund accounting reports, calculations, and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead and support the team in resolving complex accounting issues, providing technical guidance and driving process improvements.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including workload planning, deadlines, and delivery against client SLAs.
• Act as key contact for clients and internal stakeholders, addressing queries and representing the team in meetings.
• Oversee team performance and development through coaching, feedback, and scheduling, ensuring adherence to procedures and audit requirements.
