Job summary

Guardian Properties, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting for a multi-entity fund structure. Key duties include bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and intercompany activity, with QuickBooks Enterprise Online configured for fund-level tracking and strong Excel modeling.

The role requires CPA (or equivalent) status and experience supporting fund audits, with the ability to work with confidential investor data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with multi-entity fund structures and distribution processing.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Online for fund-level tracking.
• Advanced Excel skills for allocations and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting fund audits; CPA or similar license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations across all entities and resolve discrepancies.
• Record and review journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments.
• Manage transactional accounting including intercompany activity.
• Own the month-end close process with reconciliations and schedules.
• Process fund distributions and calculate management fees per governing documents.
• Maintain fund structures in QuickBooks with sub-accounts and classes.
• Build Excel models to support allocations alongside QuickBooks.
• Support annual fund audits with schedules and auditor responses.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Handle sensitive investor data with discretion.
