Job summary

Maya is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain highly available platforms. The role requires working independently and coordinating with teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.

The position involves frontend and backend development, architecture design participation, and building secure, reusable APIs for internal and external use. A BS in CS/IT/CE or equivalent is required, with experience in React, databases, RESTful services, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Frontend framework experience (React, Vue, etc)
• Relational DB experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Non-Relational KV storage experience (Redis, Mongo)
• RESTful web services development
• Automated unit and integration testing
• Git experience
• Docker containerization
• Familiarity with CI/CD
• Familiarity with Scrum
• Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and best practices
• Event-driven architectures (AWS SNS, SQS, Kafka)
• Experience with advanced frontend ecosystem (React+Redux+Flux)
• Terraform / CloudFormation
• AWS services (S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway)
