Job summary

Maya is building an all-in-one financial ecosystem in the Philippines, seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer focused on frontend development. The role emphasizes scalable web applications, modern web patterns, and collaboration with Agile teams to translate requirements into high-quality code.

You will work with ReactJS, Next.js, and cloud-native practices, contributing to architecture, testing, and CI/CD pipelines within a fast-growing fintech environment in Manila.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building scalable web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, API integration, state management, and responsive design.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Proven ability to independently deliver high-quality solutions, perform code reviews, and support production systems.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills in cross-functional Agile teams.
• Exposure to Micro Frontends, Node.js, AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Development: Design and build reusable, testable web features and platforms.
• Integration: Connect front-end with backend services, REST/GraphQL APIs, and databases.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with backend and service engineers for scalable deployments.
• Quality & Operational Excellence: Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, participate in CI/CD, troubleshoot production issues.
• AI-Augmented Engineering: Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding while ensuring security and compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: Explore new technologies and architectures to boost speed and reliability.
