Job summary

Lago is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the platform build for web and mobile applications. You will own end-to-end development, from backend APIs to frontend delivery, while creating scalable data pipelines from external sources.

The role emphasizes autonomy, rapid delivery, and hands-on ownership in a startup-style environment. Remote-friendly with EST daytime hours and a competitive USD monthly rate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production systems in Python.
• Strong SQL and database design, data modeling and optimization.
• ETL/data pipeline experience is required.
• Web scraping with browser automation, API reverse-engineering and anti-bot handling.
• Self-initiative, goal-driven, and pragmatic coding approach.
• Willingness to learn new domains and adapt with data.
• Experience in a small team/startup (under 20 people) is preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web and mobile versions of the platform.
• Set up backend, APIs, and database architecture for performance and scale.
• Translate UI designs into responsive, high-quality builds.
• Integrate with third-party tools and external data sources.
• Handle deployment, testing, and performance optimization.
