Job summary

National Instruments Philippines Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build, and maintain Python-based REST APIs and back-end services, and to develop GraphQL APIs for flexible client queries.

You will work with PostgreSQL schemas, integrate with documentation platforms, build React front-ends, and participate in Agile and Azure DevOps pipelines to deliver production-grade solutions across the product and asset portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience with full-stack Python.
• Production experience building REST APIs with FastAPI or Django REST Framework.
• Experience designing/consuming GraphQL APIs and managing PostgreSQL schemas.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Python-based REST APIs and back-end services.
• Expose GraphQL APIs and evolve schemas.
• Develop and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, migrations.
• Integrate with Zoomin and other documentation APIs.
• Build React front-end components with state management.
• Apply the SDLC across product and asset portfolio.
• Troubleshoot production issues across Python, PostgreSQL, and React.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and backend team.
• Maintain API contracts and runbooks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and Azure DevOps CI/CD.
