Job summary

HRTX in Mandaluyong City is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own backend and frontend development in a hybrid role. You will build Python REST APIs with FastAPI/Django REST, design PostgreSQL schemas, and create React components for product and asset data interfaces.

You will integrate with third-party platforms, maintain API contracts, and support end-to-end delivery across Python, PostgreSQL, and React. Strong English communication and Agile collaboration with Azure DevOps are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience with strong Python expertise.
• Proficient in FastAPI/Django REST, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills, including database design and optimization.
• Experience with React.js, JavaScript, and responsive UI development.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, API keys, and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.
• Strong English communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and ownership skills.

Responsibilities

• Backend & API Development: Build and maintain Python REST APIs (FastAPI/Django REST) and flexible GraphQL schemas.
• Front-End Development: Build responsive, state-managed React components for product and asset data interfaces.
• Database Management: Design PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations for product and asset metadata at scale.
• Third-Party Integrations: Connect internal systems with third-party platforms (e.g., Zoomin) to sync content, metadata, and publication workflows.
• Full SDLC & Production Support: Own end-to-end delivery—from requirements to deployment—and troubleshoot issues across Python, PostgreSQL, and React.
• Documentation & Standards: Maintain API contracts, schemas, integration guides, and operational runbooks.
• Cross-Functional Agile: Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams using Agile methods and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
