Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Senior Application Developer in Mandaluyong City, Philippines to design Python REST/GraphQL APIs, integrate with Zoomin, and deliver React front-end interfaces for engineers, admins, and customers across Emerson's global network.

You will own backend services, database schemas, and documentation workflows while collaborating across agile teams and supporting production deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with full-stack Python delivery.
• Expertise building production-grade REST APIs with FastAPI or DRF.
• Experience designing/consuming GraphQL APIs and schemas.
• Proficient PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization.
• Experience integrating with Zoomin and other doc platforms.
• Strong React frontend interfaces with Redux/Context API.
• Adheres to SDLC and CI/CD practices with Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Python-based REST APIs and backend services.
• Expose GraphQL APIs for flexible data access and maintain schemas.
• Maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations at scale.
• Integrate with Zoomin and other documentation platforms.
• Build React frontend components and manage state (Redux/Context).
• Follow full SDLC from requirements through testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot production issues across Python, PostgreSQL, and React.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, QA, and backend team.
• Maintain API contracts, data models, and runbooks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
