Job summary

Intro Recruitment Asia is seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain Python FastAPI backend services and REST APIs, and to build React.js frontend components. You will work with PostgreSQL, handle data migrations, and integrate with third‑party documentation platforms.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience with Python and React, REST API design, and strong English communication in a fast‑paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of software development experience with hands‑on delivery in Python and React.
• Proficiency in building REST API services using FastAPI, including endpoint definition and Pydantic models.
• Experience consuming and building REST APIs, understanding HTTP methods and JSON payloads.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL and data operations in a relational database environment.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and sprint delivery; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python FastAPI backend services and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain React.js front‑end components and integrate with backend services.
• Write and optimize PostgreSQL queries, support schema updates, and assist with data migrations.
• Assist with REST API integrations to third‑party platforms (Zoomin, etc.).
• Apply SDLC practices; develop, test, and support production releases.
• Debug across FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and React layers and escalate complex root causes.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and participate in code reviews; maintain feature docs and test cases.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and System Analysts to deliver quality solutions on time.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD delivery using Azure DevOps.
