Applaudo is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to design, build, and scale production-grade applications. You will work within established architectures, understand existing codebases quickly, and deliver reliable solutions with minimal guidance.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean code, and contributing across backend and frontend layers using Python, AWS Lambda, Vue.js, and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack or Backend Software Engineer.
• Strong experience with Python, REST APIs, AWS Lambda, and MongoDB.
• Experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, Git, and Agile development.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and AWS Lambda.
• Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs supporting cloud-based applications.
• Analyze technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
• Develop software following established architectural standards and engineering best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain production systems.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to deliver reliable APIs and end-to-end functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and proactively identify technical improvements and risks.
• Contribute to frontend development using Vue.js as part of a full stack engineering team.
• Communicate effectively with technical stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.
