Job summary

MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build and support modern web applications from the Clark Freeport Zone in the Philippines.

You will work with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js and NestJS, taking ownership of features from design to deployment. You will collaborate with a Technical Lead, maintain coding standards, perform code reviews, mentor junior developers and help ensure secure, scalable solutions across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent commercial software development experience.
• 5 to 7+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Advanced commercial experience with React.js and modern frontend architecture.
• Advanced experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Strong experience with Node.js backend development.
• Strong experience with NestJS or a similar structured Node.js framework.
• Strong experience designing, building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience using Git and GitHub, including branching strategies, pull requests and code reviews.
• Experience with ORM tools such as TypeORM or similar.
• Experience taking ownership of complex features from technical design through production support.
• Experience reviewing code and providing technical guidance to other developers.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and common web application security risks.
• Comfortable working in an Agile software development environment.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues across the full application stack.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and improve full stack web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js and NestJS.
• Take ownership of complex product features from design through production support.
• Build and maintain scalable frontend components, REST APIs, backend services and database integrations.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps during testing, release preparation, deployment and production issue resolution.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and API docs.
