Job summary

CI&T in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, and deployment of scalable features across frontend and backend stacks. You will participate in architecture decisions and drive quality through automated testing and code reviews.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with product and client teams, and ensure reliable production systems with performance tuning and incident response.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python; experience with React and Next.js is required.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS) and serverless deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable software features and complex system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues through root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Establish and promote coding standards, best practices, automated testing, and code review culture.
• Build and maintain reliable monitoring, observability, and alerting for production systems.
• Balance new feature development with maintenance and technical debt reduction.
