Job summary

Bridgit is seeking an experienced Front-end Developer to shape the front-end of our lending platform. You’ll work across customer, broker, and internal tools, translating ideas into intuitive interfaces with modern frontend frameworks.

You’ll mentor peers, emphasize design-led development, and raise the bar for UI/UX across the business. A strong focus on ownership, collaboration, and delivering high-quality code will be essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years+ working as a front end developer.
• 5+ years experience with ReactJS, Next.js, and React Native.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping mobile applications.
• Experience with Expo framework and mobile deployment workflows.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design patterns.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs and third-party services.
• Familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play Store release processes.
• Experience working with AI-driven solutions is a strong plus.
• Comfortable taking ownership of features end-to-end from architecture to delivery and thrive in environments where you drive the “how”.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop performant, delightful user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Collaborate with the product & tech teams to implement feature designs across customer and internal software.
• Write robust, well-tested code and proactively identify areas for technical improvement or refactor.
• Share ideas and improvements backed by sound technical reasoning.
• Execute AI-led engineering to design, build, and accelerate delivery of modern applications.
• Contribute to design and code reviews, support peers, and maintain the technical bar of the team.
• Mentor and elevate other engineers, championing engineer best practices and a culture of quality.
