Job summary

Bridgit is a leading fintech lender transforming how Australians access property equity. We are seeking a passionate Frontend Engineer to shape the front-end experience of our lending platform, collaborating with product and engineering to deliver high-quality interfaces that are fast, accessible, and scalable.

You will own features end-to-end, mentor peers, and contribute to design and code reviews while exploring AI-driven improvements to accelerate delivery and improve user delight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a frontend developer.
• 5+ years experience with ReactJS, Next.js, and React Native.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop performant, delightful user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Collaborate with product & tech teams to implement feature designs across customer and internal software.
• Write robust, well-tested code and proactively identify areas for technical improvement or refactor.
• Share ideas and improvements backed by sound technical reasoning.
• Execute AI-led engineering to design, build, and accelerate delivery of modern applications.
• Contribute to design and code reviews, support peers, and maintain the technical bar of the team.
• Mentor and elevate other engineers, championing engineer best practices and a culture of quality.
