Job summary

Manulife John Hancock is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Global Wealth and Asset Management & General Account FP&A Asia team. You will deliver accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and planning inputs for assigned Asia markets and channels, consolidating data for regional management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 3 years of relevant finance experience.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reporting, forecast, and planning inputs for assigned Asia markets and channels.
• Consolidate, validate, and analyze financial and non-financial information to support regional reporting.
• Deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations including management decks and expense reporting.
• Analyze performance vs forecasts; explain drivers and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Support quarterly forecasting and annual planning through trend analysis and modelling.
• Maintain reporting templates and reconcile data across source systems; investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate inputs with Asia country teams, Hong Kong finance partners, and global stakeholders.
• Improve reporting processes through standardisation and automation.
• Support ad hoc analyses and knowledge transfer within scope and priorities.
