Goldilocks Bakeshop, Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, and provide in-depth financial analysis for management decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Finance, 2–3 years in a supervisory role, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software (MYOB/SAP). Overtime and weekend work may be necessary during critical cycles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in financial reporting, GL management, budgeting, tax compliance, audit coordination and completion.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., MYOB, SAP, or similar).
Proven leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
2–3 years in a supervisory or management role.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; willing to overtime and work on weekends/holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations and staff.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
Coordinate external/internal audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
Review balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger activities.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
Improve efficiency of accounting processes.
Develop and mentor accounting team members to enhance performance and productivity.
Maintain the Accounts, Job List, New Store, Customer and New Store Supplier Card Creation.
