Job summary

Goldilocks Bakeshop Inc. is seeking a senior finance leader for the plant to drive cost control, budgeting, and accurate financial reporting. You will oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and capital expenditure evaluation while partnering with plant operations to optimize performance.

The role requires 5–8 years in Finance/Accounting with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, plus ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills. CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• CPA certification is an advantage.
• 5–8 years of progressive Finance/Accounting experience.
• 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting expertise.
• ERP systems experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Dynamics).
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Ability to work with plant operations and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs (raw materials, labor, overhead).
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate plant transactions and compliance with standards/policies.
• Partner with plant management to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review product costing to improve margins and profitability.
• Manage plant budgeting and forecasting lifecycle.
• Support internal and external audits and resolve findings.
• Monitor capital expenditures and project feasibility.
• Lead the plant finance team and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with corporate finance, supply chain, operations and other departments.
