Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Transaction Reconciliation Specialist to ensure accurate financial transaction records through routine reconciliations and exception management. The role involves validating settlements, investigating discrepancies, and producing reports while coordinating with multiple teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has a Finance or related degree, 3+ years in reconciliation, strong Excel skills, and a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of settlement and reconciliation experience, ideally in banking, payments, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of settlement and reconciliation processes.
• Understanding of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong sense of accountability.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills is a must.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reconciliations.
• Validate payments, settlements, and other fund movements against banking and partner records.
• Investigate discrepancies across internal systems, bank statements, CMS, SAP, and partner reports.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and escalate outstanding exceptions based on SLAs.
• Coordinate with Technology, Product, Customer Support, and other teams to resolve transaction issues.
• Monitor transactional data for irregularities and inconsistencies.
• Support UAT for new products and system enhancements.
• Maintain reconciliation procedures and operational documentation.
• Recommend process and system improvements.
• Support automation initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce manual reconciliation activities.
