• Understanding of government accounting, auditing, internal controls, and IPOPHL policies.
• Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and identify process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic and operational leadership to the Cashier Section for timely, accurate financial transactions.
• Supervises daily and monthly collections, ensuring completeness and accuracy against ledgers.
• Manages deposits, disbursements, and cash position reporting with strong internal controls.
• Implements and improves digital tools and reporting platforms to enhance transparency and efficiency.
• Coaches cashier staff on best practices and ensures compliance with governance standards.
• Conducts regular reviews and audits to minimize risk and optimize workflow.
• Prepares timely financial analyses and reports for executive decision-making.
• Ensures accountability and safeguarding of government funds; handles sensitive financial data.
