Job summary

Vestas American Wind Technology in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Controller within the Finance team to ensure accuracy of financial data across entities and timely, compliant close processes. The role will collaborate with Group Reporting, Group Tax, SSC Finance Operations, and Business Finance in Headquarters or Regions to drive robust financial controls, analysis, and decision support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field; professional certifications encouraged (CPA, CMA, MBA, CIA, RCA, CTT).
• 8–10 years of experience in finance, especially accounting operations, controlling, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and proficiency with MS Office; experience with SAP-S4 Hana preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall entity financial controlling and ensure accuracy of financial statements for consolidation.
• Coordinate with Group Reporting, Group Tax, SSC Finance Operations to support month-end close and pre-close activities.
• Prepare in-depth balance sheet and P&L analyses, provide commentary on variances and trends for decision-making.
• Resolve complex accounting issues and ensure proper accounting treatment across all line items.
