Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate for the Accounting and Financial Consulting Group (AFCG) who will lead financial reporting and advisory engagements, supervise junior staff, and help develop client advisory skills. The role offers growth toward Operations Manager – AFCG with increased engagement and team leadership responsibilities.

Location is Kapitolyo, Pasig. Strong knowledge of IFRS, PFRS, and Philippine tax regulations is required, along with CPA certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• CPA certification is required; CMA, CFA, or MBA is advantageous.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial consulting, with exposure to client engagements.
• Experience in budgeting, profitability analysis, financial modeling, and cost optimization may be relevant.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial statement preparation and analysis, ensuring compliance with IFRS, PFRS, and tax regulations.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, identifying inconsistencies and providing recommendations.
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions, reconciliations, and adjustments for client accounts.
• Supervise payroll processing, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead in the set-up of the client’s accounting system including chart of accounts and transaction flow.
• Coordinate with government agencies to ensure timely government processes and update internal manuals.
