Job summary

SPX PHILIPPINES INC. is seeking a Finance Operations Senior Analyst to own end-to-end reconciliation, payout validation, and reporting for ShopeeFood’s operations in Manila.

You will coordinate with regional finance teams on WHT/e-Tax matters and help build new reconciliation processes to support growth. You will collaborate with FP&A, Business Development, SeaFinance, and regional teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, while driving automation and efficiency across finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with strong accounting principles.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Accounting, Reconciliation, or Shared Services.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills with data validation, reconciliation, and reporting experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage recurring, deadline-driven processes.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with experience handling large transactional datasets.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ERP, procurement, or payment systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reconciliation across bank, payment gateway, and internal systems.
• Coordinate withholding tax (WHT) and e-Tax matters with Regional/local Finance, ensuring accurate application and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support money collection processes, coordinating with Business Development and Regional Finance on outstanding items.
• Raise and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and approval workflows.
• Perform wallet balance adjustments for merchants and delivery partners, validating balances against source transaction data.
• Prepare recurring administrative reports and management trackers to support business monitoring and decision-making.
• Support month-end and period-end closing activities through data validation and reconciliation.
• Investigate payment, billing, and reconciliation issues, providing timely resolution and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of finance operations.
