Job summary

Business Trends Philippines is seeking an experienced finance/Accounting leader to manage daily operations, oversee reporting and budgeting, and ensure statutory compliance in the Philippines. You will guide staff, collaborate with HR and external stakeholders, and provide insights for strategic decisions.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Philippine tax and regulatory requirements, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, billing, collections, and payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Familiarity with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG requirements.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and projections.
• Manage cash flow, AP, AR, billing, and collections.
• Review client billing, timesheets, and payroll documentation.
• Monitor payroll-related expenses and workforce costs.
• Coordinate with HR and payroll for timely payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and others.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Identify financial risks and propose cost-saving improvements.
