Job summary

Vanigent Biopharm in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning, and to partner with the executive team on revenue opportunities and strategic investments.

You will oversee financial operations, compliance and governance, monthly closes, and cross-functional initiatives to drive efficiency, profitability, and accurate board-ready reporting.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis: lead end-to-end FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: lead KPI monitoring, variance analysis, and management reporting; ensure liquidity and resource allocation.
• Strategic Investments & Partnerships: identify and evaluate investment opportunities; provide financial analysis and recommendations to executives.
• Financial Operations, Compliance & Governance: oversee accounting coordination, tax planning, financial compliance, and internal controls; ensure timely reporting.
• Operational Efficiency & Cross-Functional Leadership: collaborate with executives to align financial planning with business objectives; drive efficiency and automation.
• General Responsibilities: support monthly close, prepare board materials, and respond to ad hoc financial analyses.

Essential Responsibilities

• 1. Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis
• · Lead end-to-end FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning.
• · Partner with executive leadership to evaluate revenue growth initiatives, commercial opportunities, financial impact, and execution trade-offs.
• · Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• · Support capital budgeting and investment allocation decisions by assessing expected returns, strategic priorities, and funding requirements.
• 2. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• · Lead KPI monitoring, variance analysis, and management reporting, translating financial and operational performance trends into actionable recommendations.
• · Monitor financial performance and cash-flow planning to support business objectives, liquidity requirements, and resource allocation.
• · Develop and maintain pricing, margin, and profitability reporting to support commercial decision-making and overall business performance.
• 3. Strategic Investments & Partnerships
• · Identify and evaluate investment and partnership opportunities, assessing potential financial, commercial, and operational synergies.
• · Evaluate strategic opportunities and funding requirements and provide financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.
• · Support investment and partnership decisions through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and assessment of expected returns and strategic value.
• 4. Financial Operations, Compliance & Governance
• · Oversee financial operations, accounting coordination, tax planning, financial compliance, and financial management.
• · Ensure compliance with applicable financial and tax requirements and coordinate with internal and external advisors as needed.
• · Oversee financial processes and controls to support accurate reporting, operational efficiency, and financial integrity.
• · Support the monthly financial close process, including review of financial statements, analysis of results, and coordination with accounting resources to ensure accurate, timely, and decision-ready reporting.
• 5. Operational Efficiency & Cross-Functional Leadership
• · Partner cross-functionally with executive and operational leaders to align financial planning and resource allocation with business objectives.
• · Collaborate with the development team on internal products and solutions that improve operational efficiency and automation, including solutions subsequently offered to third-party clients.
• · Participate in cross-functional strategic initiatives and special projects to advance company-wide objectives.
• · Prepare and support financial content for board materials, leadership updates, and other executive presentations, ensuring financial information is accurate, clear, and aligned with strategic priorities.
• · Respond to ad hoc financial, operational, and strategic analysis requests from executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, providing timely insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
