Job summary

WERT PHILIPPINES, INC. in Metro Manila is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

You will oversee accounting operations, optimize working capital, and drive profitability through cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in Finance/Accounting, at least 3 in management, CPA preferred, and strong knowledge of ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA preferred, but not mandatory depending on experience.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in Finance/Accounting with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, distribution, or related industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Oversee accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Analyze product profitability, pricing, margins, sales performance, and operating costs.
• Monitor inventory valuation, inventory movements, and potential slow-moving or obsolete stocks.
• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting, taxation, and statutory requirements.
• Strengthen financial controls, policies, procedures, and risk-management practices.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business and investment decisions.
• Lead and develop the Finance and Accounting team.
