Job summary

ICTSI in the Philippines is seeking an Accountant to ensure timely and accurate reporting of accounting transactions. You will perform reconciliations, assist with intercompany balances, and help maintain the general ledger.

The role requires a BS Accountancy, 1–2 years experience, and familiarity with SAP or QuickBooks and MS Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, with a results-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a college degree of Bachelor Science in Accountancy or related field.
• Preferably with at least 1 - 2 years relevant working experience
• Experience in SAP and Quickbooks Accounting System and MS Office (especially Excel) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Performs cash in bank reconciliations and schedule of short-term investments.
• Accruals and deferral analysis and posting of journal entries.
• Analyses and prepares the schedule and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances.
• Assists on the analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepares necessary adjusting entries to ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts.
• Assists on the analysis of fixed assets and inventory schedules i.e. provision for obsolescence, inventory valuation, CAPEX useful life and depreciation runs.
• Prepares/reviews accounts payable entries and payment processing for shared services entities as maybe assigned.
• Assists on the preparation of schedules and supporting documents for management
• Prepares, submits and ensures payments of BIR taxes, local business and real property taxes on or before deadlines.
