Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Finance & Administration Executive to oversee finance, HR and general administration across the organisation. You will manage the full set of accounts, payroll, and office operations to support strategic decision-making.

The role requires strong knowledge of accounting systems, HR compliance, and internal controls, with collaboration across Japan HQ and local authorities. This position is based in Malaysia and offers exposure to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations via AutoCount accounting system.
• Update daily cash records and prepare cash flow projections.
• Monitor AR collections and AP payments.
• Process e-invoices.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing.
• Input monthly/quarterly accounts online via Oracle and Sactona System from Japan HQ.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and government authorities.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for annual audits.
• Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to accounting procedures.
• Support management by providing financial analysis and reports for business decision-making.
