Job summary

Liberty Commercial Center Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Manager - Fashion to lead the merchandising team, plan seasonal buys, and optimize assortment and pricing to drive sales and profitability.

You will build strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, and translate insights into actionable strategies across stores and warehouses while mentoring your team toward excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in merchandising, retail, or supply chain management.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Buy and negotiate with prospective suppliers.
• Consult regularly with suppliers on sales performance, deliveries, promotions, and other concerns.
• Maintain collaborative supplier partnerships and negotiate effectively.
• Coordinate with the Merchandising Team on pricing and mix.
• Conduct store and warehouse visits to ensure competitiveness.
• Collaborate with Operations on inventory, displays, promotions, price changes, and customer needs.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance for profitability.
• Evaluate merchandise mix, assortment, and competitive pricing.
• Analyze profitability, area productivity, and stock inventory levels.
• Assess and update suppliers, merchandise pricing, and cost.
• Prepare seasonal buying plans, stock strategies, and range planning.
• Plan and oversee promotions, markdowns, and approvals.
• Develop merchandise strategies with suppliers to maximize value and performance.
• Mentor and coach the team to enhance performance.
