Job summary

Liberty Commercial Center Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Manager – Private Label to develop, manage and grow the supermarket’s private-label portfolio across grocery, beverages, household and more.

You will lead sourcing, assortment, pricing, supplier management and product development to drive sales and margins. Responsibilities include building strategies, coordinating with QA, marketing, operations, and suppliers, monitoring performance, and coaching the merchandising team to execute

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Experience with merchandising systems and supplier/vendor management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies for private-label products across supermarket categories.
• Identify new private-label opportunities based on market trends and sales performance.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and lifecycle to meet sales and margin targets.
• Source and evaluate manufacturers and suppliers for private-label products.
• Negotiate cost, pricing, terms, MOQs, and lead times with suppliers.
• Coordinate product development, packaging, labeling, quality requirements, and launch timelines.
• Monitor sales, margins, inventories, and sell-through performance of private-label products.
• Lead and coach the merchandising team to execute private-label initiatives.
