Job summary

Outsourcey Global, Inc. is seeking an experienced Facade Designer to join our Philippine team.

The role focuses on preparing detailed facade designs, drafting, and construction documentation for commercial, residential, or large-scale projects. You will develop plans, elevations, sections, and shop drawings for facade systems, interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Facade Designer or similar technical design role.
• Proficient in CAD/AutoCAD; experience in Revit, Rhino, RS Commander preferred.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings and construction documentation.
• Ability to produce detailed technical drawings and shop drawings.
• Understanding of façade systems and building envelopes; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed facade design, drafting and construction documentation.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details and shop drawings for facade systems.
• Interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Translate design concepts and technical requirements into accurate CAD drawings.
• Review architectural documentation to identify facade interfaces, dimensions and design requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, contractors and internal project teams.
• Undertake drawing revisions based on design changes, RFIs and stakeholder feedback.
• Identify potential design clashes, inconsistencies or constructability issues.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, relevant standards and internal drafting requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions and appropriate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project teams with technical facade design and drafting advice.
• Assist with the development and improvement of drafting standards, templates and design processes.
• Manage multiple drawing packages and priorities while meeting project deadlines.
• Provide technical notes, drafting support, and assistance in preparing technical expression reports and design documentation.
• Review and compare architectural, structural, and technical drawings to identify design discrepancies, inconsistencies, and areas requiring clarification.
• Prepare technical summaries and supporting documentation for RFIs to facilitate timely resolution and coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Profile Requirements:

• Min 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Facade Designer, Facade Drafter, Architectural Drafter or similar technical design role.

• Strong proficiency in CAD/AutoCAD (non-negotiable), with experience in Revit, Rhino, and RS Commander highly preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams for documentation, file management, and project collaboration.

• Experience with specialised façade design and drafting.

• Strong understanding of architectural drawings and construction documentation.

• Experience producing detailed technical drawings and shop drawings.

• Good understanding of façade systems, building envelopes, glazing, aluminium systems, or related construction disciplines.

• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering specifications.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Qualification in Architecture. An architectural background is strongly preferred.

• Experience working on commercial, residential or large-scale building projects is advantageous.
