Job summary

Outsourcey is seeking an experienced architect in the Philippines to join our remote team. You will support design development, prepare detailed Australian-standard drawings, and manage documentation across multiple Australian projects.

The role requires 5–7 years in design, 2–3 years in leadership, and strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Project. You will collaborate with clients virtually to ensure quality and compliance while growing with a global BPO leader.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Design Manager by reviewing design progress and ensuring completeness for each project.
• Review and track construction documents using CAD/BIM with Australian standards in mind.
• Help create and track Design Programs and Cobild processes across project teams.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and consultants to deliver high-quality documentation.
• Coordinate with team and clients in Australia through virtual tools (Zoom, Teams).
• Ensure designs meet Australian building regulations and Cobild standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and remote project management.

Profile Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of [5-7] years of experience in architectural design, with at least [2-3] years in a senior or project leadership role focused on Australian projects. Experience working remotely is required.
• Australian Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and construction practices is essential.
• Licensure: Licensed architect, or in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp. Efficiency in Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple Australian projects simultaneously.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to Australian clients in a virtual environment.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify project challenges specific to Australian architecture and to Cobild Standards.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in both design and documentation, with a focus on compliance with Australian standards.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working independently in a remote setting, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows.

Core responsibilities:

• Design Development: Assisting the Design Manager in reviewing and tracking design process and completeness for each of our projects.
• Technical Documentation: Review and track detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD and BIM software, with a focus on Australian building standards and practices.
• Project Management: Assit the Design Manager in creating and tracking Design Programs for our projects, and in following up Cobild Design processes and checklist with our project teams.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Design Manager and Project teams, designers, engineers, and consultants to ensure the delivery of quality documentation and design outcomes.
• Remote Coordination: Utilize virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) to communicate effectively with team members and clients across Australia.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs and documents meet Cobild’s high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance with Australian building regulations.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Australian architecture and remote project management.
