Job summary

ams OSRAM's LSP unit seeks a seasoned qualification engineer in Laguna to define product qualification criteria, collaborate with Reliability, Test Development and Product Engineering teams, and guide new products from qualification to mass production.

You will drive 8D problem solving, lead project-management efforts, and ensure Safe Launch standards are met for critical photonics components used in data centers and automotive applications.

Qualifications

• Defines qualification requirements for new products by acquiring customer-related and basic standards by industry and company.
• Collaborate with Reliability, Test development and Product Eng'g teams in developing the software and hardware requirements to qualify a product.
• Execution of Safe Launch requirements of a qualified product.
• Hand-over of quality role from qualification to Mass-production stage to relevant teams (CQM)

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical)
• 5 years’ experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and Engineering industry
• 8D management, Task force leadership, Project Management experience is a plus
• Ability to lead teams on project management issues during qualification of new products
