Job summary

ams OSRAM Group seeks a Senior Engineer in QM Advanced Product Quality in the Philippines. You will define qualification requirements for new products and collaborate with reliability, test development, and engineering teams to ensure robust qualification and Safe Launch readiness.

Ideal candidates bring 5 years in semiconductor manufacturing, a relevant engineering degree, and strong project leadership to hand over quality responsibilities from qualification to mass production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electronics, electrical, mechanical, or chemical).
• 5 years in Semiconductor Manufacturing and Engineering.
• 8D problem solving and project leadership are a plus.
• Able to lead teams during qualification of new products.

Responsibilities

• Defines qualification requirements for new products by acquiring customer-related and industry standards and company standards.
• Collaborates with Reliability, Test development and Product Eng'g teams to define software/hardware requirements to qualify a product.
• Executes Safe Launch requirements for a qualified product.
• Handover of quality role from qualification to Mass-production stage to relevant teams (CQM).
