Job summary

ams OSRAM Group is seeking a highly motivated equipment engineer to join our semiconductor manufacturing and final test operations team in the Philippines. Qualifications

• College level education or completion of a vocational/technical course in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is an advantage; familiarity with Multitest MT9928 and MT9510 Test Handlers is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of ESD, safety standards, and semiconductor manufacturing quality systems is preferred.
• Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies such as, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, or FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, Final Test Operations, or equipment engineering environments
• Hands-on experience with automated test handlers, test systems, and production support activities
• Knowledge of yield improvement, equipment uptime management, and manufacturing performance metrics such as MUBA, Availability and Efficiency
• Experience supporting equipment conversions, qualifications, and process validations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Production, Quality, Planning, and Engineering teams
• Previous experience leading equipment improvement projects, cost-reduction initiatives, or productivity enhancement programs is an advantage
