Job summary

ams OSRAM in the Philippines is seeking a senior wafersort engineering leader to drive Quality, Manufacturing and Yield KPIs. You will mentor technicians, lead root-cause analyses, and optimize test processes to raise throughput and reduce cost of test.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support customer and internal audits with documentation, and implement data driven methods to identify improvements and prevent escapes in volume production for wafersort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years in semiconductor manufacturing in a Test Product engineering role or equivalent
• 1-3 years’ leadership experience; experience supporting volume wafersort production

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage wafersort engineering team to achieve Quality, Manufacturing and Yield KPIs
• Collaborate with cross functional team to drive root-cause analysis and resolution of complex test yield and quality issues
• Optimize test processes to improve yield, throughput, uptime, and cost of test
• Mentor and develop technician and engineering skills and talent
• Support customer and internal audits by providing technical expertise and documentation
• Implement data driven methodologies to identify improvement opportunities and prevent escapes
