Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead full software lifecycle activities from concept through end-of-life. You will guide architecture, testing, and QA/QC for embedded systems and mentor junior engineers.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to capture requirements, design complex architectures, and advance new product development in a fast-growing company with Fortune 100 customers and a broad product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Ph.D. in above fields.
• Minimum 10 years in full software lifecycle development from concept to end of life.
• Deep knowledge of C/C++ programming and Linux environments.
• Experience with embedded Linux and real-time software development.

Responsibilities

• Own the full software life cycle from concept to deprecation.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide day-to-day contributions.
• Define and capture requirements with customers and end users.
• Develop architectures and testing strategies for complex embedded systems.
• Collaborate on hardware/software co-design and SoC components.
