Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software for a broad portfolio of embedded systems.

You will work closely with hardware teams to define software requirements, implement real-time software, and ensure reliable performance across platforms. The role emphasizes C/C++ proficiency, Zephyr and Linux familiarity, and collaboration across engineering functions to deliver high-quality solutions for connected devices and intelligent edge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Strong embedded software development experience with C/C++; knowledge of RTOS and bare-metal environments.
• Experience with microcontrollers/microprocessors software development and debugging.
• Familiarity with Zephyr and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART; version control with Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for various hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define software requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Develop software for RTOS and bare-metal environments; optimize performance and power usage.
• Contribute to documentation and software user guides; perform thorough testing and debugging.
• Learn and apply best practices in embedded software development and debugging.
