Job summary

Schneider Electric may be seeking an experienced manufacturing/engineering professional to lead technical issue resolution in manufacturing and to participate in NPD reviews. You will mentor teams, review designs for manufacturability and reliability, and drive continuous improvement across product lines.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, cross‑functional collaboration, and ensuring safety and compliance while delivering high‑quality electronics products for scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design, product engineering, technical support, or manufacturing engineering in electronics manufacturing.
• Proven experience in product development, manufacturing support, root cause analysis, failure investigation, and continuous product improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the escalation point for technical issue resolution within manufacturing operations.
• Act as a technical reviewer during New Product Development (NPD), identifying and resolving issues before production release.
• Promote reuse of NPD components across divisions to reduce obsolescence and improve efficiency.
• Support manufacturing teams in resolving technical issues affecting equipment safety or operational integrity.
• Ensure corrective actions during field resolutions consider safety and standards compliance.
• Collaborate with Line of Business teams to resolve field failures via rapid corrective action during startups.
• Drive continuous product quality improvement by addressing manufacturing challenges and field issues.
• Inject value engineering concepts during NPD reviews and on legacy products to enhance reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor manufacturing engineering teams and share technical knowledge across functions.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and operations to build a culture of technical excellence.
• Lead efforts to reduce obsolescence through design standardization and component reuse.
• Continuously improve product quality and manufacturing processes by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Support innovation and technical advancement aligned with Schneider Electric’s commitments.
• Ensure all technical resolutions and product improvements adhere to internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in NPD reviews to ensure compliance with design and manufacturing protocols before production release.
