Job summary
Schneider Electric in Philippines seeks a seasoned Reliability/Manufacturing Engineering professional to strengthen the design, validation, and manufacturing of electronics products. You will help ensure quality, improve manufacturability, and drive reliability across NPD reviews and field issues.
The role emphasizes mentorship, cross-functional collaboration with design, quality, and operations, and applying value engineering, DFM, and root-cause analysis to reduce obsolescence and boost
Qualifications
- Must have BS Electrical Engineering or related field and hands-on design, product engineering, or manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience in AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC power conversion systems or similar electronics manufacturing.
- Proven track record in product development, manufacturing support, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as escalation point for technical issues in manufacturing operations.
- Act as technical reviewer during New Product Development (NPD) to pre-empt production issues.
- Promote reuse of NPD components to reduce obsolescence and improve efficiency.
- Support manufacturing teams in resolving technical issues affecting equipment safety or operational integrity.
- Ensure corrective actions comply with safety and standards.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve field failures during product startups.
