Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience, including senior-level responsibilities on Australian projects.
• Understanding of Australian electrical installations, materials, labour costs and estimating practices.
• Experience estimating specialist systems (security, CCTV, access control, intercoms, AV, smart home).
• Proficiency using Groundplan for digital take-offs and plan mark-ups; familiarity with Ascora and Google Drive.
• Familiarity with AI tools for estimating, document review and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs and tender documents to determine project scope and discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate, submission-ready quotes and tenders for high-end residential electrical projects.
• Perform digital take-offs and plan mark-ups for site crews.
• Review tender through construction to identify scope changes and prepare variation quotes.
• Coordinate with client, builders and suppliers to clarify requirements and obtain pricing.
• Maintain cost breakdowns, exclusions and documentation for smooth handovers.
