Job summary

Fichtner in Manila seeks an Electrical Engineer as Project Manager for Power System Studies to lead planning and design of high-voltage transmission systems. You will prepare tender texts and data sheets, review documents and bids, and liaise with international clients.

The role requires seven years in power transmission, project management preferred, English fluency, and willingness to travel 20–25% for ASEAN projects. Permanent local contract with competitive salary and international exposure.

Qualifications

Electrical engineer with experience in planning, constructing or operating high-voltage and extra high-voltage overhead line systems.
At least seven years of experience as an engineer in the field of power transmission and overhead lines.
Project management experience would be desirable.
Experience in the consulting sector would be ideal.
Experience in working with development banks, governments and authorities would be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, including technical writing and client interaction.
Fluent in English and confident working in an international environment.
Willingness to travel (approx. 20-25%) to attend to regional and international projects focused on ASEAN countries.
Philippine national or work permit for the Philippines must be available.
